How accurate is the verification?
We utilize a multi-layered verification process including syntax checks, MX record validation, and benign SMTP handshakes. While no system can guarantee 100% accuracy due to changing server policies, our engine is designed to aggressively identify risky and invalid records.
Do you send actual emails to verify?
No. We perform a benign SMTP handshake to confirm if the mailbox exists, but we drop the connection before any email is actually transmitted. The recipient never knows a check occurred.
What does 'Risky' mean?
Risky addresses often belong to catch-all domains (which accept all incoming mail prefixes) or role-based accounts (like admin@ or info@). These are technically deliverable but often yield low engagement and higher complaint rates.
Will using this guarantee my emails go to the inbox?
No. Inbox placement depends on many factors including your domain reputation, content, and sending history. InboxIQ helps reduce bounce risk and creates cleaner sending files, which is a foundational step, but we do not claim guaranteed inbox placement or guaranteed deliverability.
Do credits roll over?
Plan-based monthly credits reset at the end of your billing cycle. Pay-as-you-go (add-on) credits never expire and are consumed only after your monthly quota is depleted.
Is my data secure?
Yes. We process your lists solely for verification purposes and automatically delete the raw files from our processing servers after a short retention window. We do not sell or share your lists.
